Family‑friendly, welcoming, safe, clean, and right next to the tiny downtown—definitely a smart pick. When I return to Alter, we’ll stay here again. Ricardo is super kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The lodge is well built. The room is spacious, the shower is great (the box has plenty of room), and breakfast is freshly prepared. The Wi‑Fi worked fine. Bed and bath linens were clean and high quality. We were treated very well and felt completely at ease on the property. Talking with other tourists, they all complained about their other lodgings, and we were praising Tauari because it truly served us well.

Ricardo and the team were very attentive and helpful! The only downside is there is no hair dryer.

The breakfast café is very good! The owner of the inn attended to us perfectly with everything we needed. I only have to thank them.

I liked the tranquility and the proximity to the center at the same time. The hosts’ kindness and friendliness are unmatched; you feel at home. Ricardo and his wife are very pleasant and easy to deal with. Everything is spotless, the breakfast is great. The bed is comfortable and the air‑conditioner can be set to night mode and it’s almost silent. The only thing I can say is that I don’t want to leave; I would stay more days and if I return to Alter, I’ll go back with them without hesitation.
