The breakfast was really good! The place is exceptionally beautiful and we had a wonderful stay. They’re busy with renovations, so we believe it will be even better in the future 😊

The riverside location and the terrace were great. The service was opaque – for example, the “Day Trip Vic Falls” promised taxis, entrance, and lunch, but we ended up paying 32 Euro for the border crossing in Zimbabwe and 58 USD for the entrance to Vic Falls, plus we had to pay for lunch ourselves. Communication was terrible; the taxi driver had to finish other tours first, leaving us feeling abandoned and rushed. By the time we arrived, there wasn’t much time left to go to Livingston. I’ve been there 11 times, and normally the entrance is free except the last time, which was under 10 USD. I’m convinced they’re overcharging at Vic Falls; everything there was already there 13 years ago! What do they do with the money???

It fit well. We were the only guests in the lodge and had booked two cabins, yet we couldn’t get them next to each other. Still, it was a great stay and everything else was good.
