The breakfast was excellent and very varied, offering vegan, continental and English options with a huge selection of sweet and savory items, even gluten‑free products of great quality; the rooms were very quiet despite facing the street (windows kept closed), and the hotel is close to the station and great restaurants, though the city center is a bit farther but still reachable on foot.

The bed was comfortable and the room size was reasonable. Only one lift worked. The bedside lamp was too dim for comfortable reading. The shower cubicle felt cramped. The furnishings were a bit worn; we struggled to close the curtains, so light leaked in.
