The stay was quiet because there were few guests, so my friends and I could relax. The facilities were solid and met my expectations. I wish the sign would stand out more, and during busy times the shower room can get a wait.

The kitchen was especially clean, which was great. On the day of my visit it rained, and the unpaved parking lot had a bit of water pooling.

The place was clean, had good facilities, and was close to the cable car. There’s a kitchen and a lounge where you can have coffee and work on a laptop, and the bus stop is 50 m away. The village itself offers nothing beyond the cable car, isn’t pretty, and has no activities. It might make more sense to stay there during ski season, but you can reach the mountain in a day from Hakuba or another nicer, livelier spot just by taking the cable car.

The location is unbeatable. No complaints.
