I spent a single night here and it was amazing! The room was spacious and very clean. The highlight was the morning: I woke up to the sound of elephants, stepped onto the balcony, and watched them head straight for the water source—an unforgettable sight. Breakfast was good, the host was very welcoming and generous, and the price was quite reasonable. The only downside was that the hotel had no Wi‑Fi.

“Be careful with the people try to cheat you”

It was close to the elephant orphanage, but the place wasn’t clean enough, and there were problems with hot water and internet. The owner took us to an Ayurvedic healing spot where the staff were rude, constantly trying to touch us and seemed intoxicated. People in Pinnawale were also rude, demanding extra fees for everything. They all use the same tactics to trick tourists. I’d advise avoiding this area; a single day is enough.
