The location was fantastic and the main cabin was excellent, but the kitchen was poor and the electric hob wouldn’t work because it tripped the supply—probably because it got wet in the rain. I didn’t appreciate wandering around in the rain looking for the box to reset the electricity. The water supply isn’t potable.

The only thing was the location. I wouldn’t recommend it, even as a last resort. The accommodation was a very small cabin; the room was isolated from everything. The bathroom was outside the room and there was no toilet flush; it was just a bag where you put your waste, then you carry it out and throw it in the trash—disgusting. The second issue was that the kitchen was outside and doorless. The third, and most bizarre, was that the shower was outside the cabin, doorless, in freezing cold weather, with cold water, making it hard for your wife to shower outdoors in an open space. I don’t recommend it.

The views are spectacular, it’s located in a dream spot. The bed is very comfortable and the décor is charming. There are a few things that put a twist on the charm of the accommodation… We couldn’t use the kitchen because of an electrical problem that wasn’t fixed, so we had to throw away the food we bought to cook. The bathroom is outside, and with rain it’s impossible not to get wet. We had a problem with the toilet that, even after it was fixed, forced us to find a place to relieve ourselves early in the morning. The shower is also outside and the door is a curtain; we went in August and it was cold. With that said, the place is amazing, but it’s not set up for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Another point is traveling by car; we didn’t rent a car and the bus connections are a bit awkward.

We liked the view and the quiet. Overall, the accommodation is more suited to people with camping experience than to those looking for a holiday apartment. The toilet was a challenge and added to the communication between travel partners. Otherwise, we had read the comments from previous travelers and were prepared for all the other quirks.
