I recently had a disappointing stay at a hotel that failed to meet my expectations in almost every way. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who made a good first impression, but unfortunately, that was the highlight of my stay. The room I was given had a misleading photo online, with two beds, but what I got was a tiny space with a single, uncomfortable bed covered in a noisy plastic sheet.

I was initially told that the hotel was not affiliated with the booking platform I used, which seemed to be a convenient excuse for the poor service I received. Unfortunately, the staff's lack of attentiveness was matched only by the exorbitant prices they charged me for my short stay. As I was only there for a few hours, I felt that the rates were unfairly high, and the subpar service only added to my frustration.

I was pleased to find that my room was spotlessly clean, which was a welcome respite from the numerous other issues I encountered during my stay. However, the room itself was incredibly small, making it feel cramped and claustrophobic. The bathroom was similarly tiny, and the lack of space made it difficult to move around. Unfortunately, the hotel's location right on the highway meant that it was extremely noisy, and the proximity to train tracks only added to the cacophony.
