Nestled amid Maremma’s rolling hills, Agriturismo Bio Le Macchie Alte lies 7 km from Saturnia’s thermal springs. Guests enjoy an outdoor pool, farm‑raised animals, and on‑site honey, olive oil, sauces, and local beef. The farmhouse‑converted rooms feature private baths, free Wi‑Fi, and a communal fireplace. A reservation‑only restaurant serves organic Tuscan cuisine, while two naturalistic walking paths and discounted Saturnia baths enhance the stay.

The location is stunning, good value for money, and the welcome at arrival was warm; however, the room was very dark despite its size, the décor and furnishings need updating, the bathroom feels stale, the reception at the attached shop was cold, and the overall vibe felt like we were bothering people.

Relax assicurato! Colazione e cena super ! E camere grandi! Tania alla reception dolcissima e gentilissima! A presto !. Forse migliorerei l’orario della colazione che inizia alle 8,30 ma è solo un mio capriccio perché mi sveglio oresto !

Set in the Maremma countryside, a rustic and tranquil place; rooms are simple but the pool is gorgeous and panoramic, lying in the garden is truly delightful. A peaceful spot near several villages, Saturnia thermal baths, and not far from the sea. Beautiful. Staff interactions were minimal, perhaps better that way, we felt freer. From the room, hallway noises—cleaning and other guests passing—can be heard.
