The old granary had been restored, with single rooms each having a bathroom outside the room. We had a very large, pleasant room decorated in cabin style, which must be lovely in winter. We slept very well and the breakfast was top. Access was a bit complicated, as was the parking. We stayed in August, so it was manageable, but I wonder how it would be in winter with snow—certainly not suitable for people with reduced mobility or who are not spry.

The meals and breakfast were hearty and excellent. The bedding was comfortable and the host was very friendly. The mountain setting was very pleasant.

The host was available and very responsive, adapting kindly to any special dietary requests: he prepared a special dish just for me at dinner and adjusted my breakfast. It was a delight. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a stunning mountain view, and there was direct access for hikes of all levels. The stairs are a bit steep, but the house layout probably necessitates that (and they are old).

A cozy cabin a bit off the main ski area, in a lovely little village. David was extremely friendly and attentive, cooking for us. Everything was clean. The cabin isn’t luxurious, it’s very authentic with lots of wood, but that was exactly what we wanted.
