The hosts kindly upgraded me to a double room at The Savoy Hotel next door. There was a lovely communal lounge for guests to relax in, my double room was en‑suite with a comfortable double bed, nice lamps, tea and coffee facilities, and a large TV. In the mornings there was a lovely cooked breakfast.

The room had a lovely sea view, was very comfortable, clean, and great value for money – I would definitely come back.

The little touches – a box with a kettle, hot drink sachets, biscuits – were much appreciated. In the bathroom there were toothbrushes, mini toothpaste, shower gel, etc. There were also bottles of water on a table on the landing. These small things show the owners care about their guests. The rooms were really clean and well cared for. The staff member we spoke to was lovely. Good location. The guest in room 6 said that the mattress on the bed wasn’t comfortable and she could feel the springs.

We booked a room‑only stay and the king‑size bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was spotless as always; check‑in was smooth because the room was ready upon arrival, and the host was always friendly and polite. There were no issues at all.
