I love the family‑friendly, warm atmosphere of this hotel where I’ve been staying regularly for years; the restaurant is fantastic, the rooms are pleasant, and the food is delicious with local ingredients—great value for money. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and well‑heated, and the view from the room is magical. The location is ideal, right in the city centre. The only drawback is that the room furniture looks a bit dated, though everything else is in good condition.

The corridor lighting could use a tweak: from the back rooms there's no accessible switch, so it’s a bit inconvenient; motion‑sensor lamps would be great. Adding a mattress cover would give a nicer look, and cleaning the bathroom vents should be done. Aside from those, the hotel feels charming and well‑equipped, and even though the price is a touch steep, the location more than makes up for it. The staff are absolutely adorable and helpful, and we’ll definitely come back. The only downside was the lack of snow, but the hotel can’t do anything about that; the charcuterie platter was pricey for the three types in just three pieces, which was our biggest disappointment.

“Séjour très agréable aux Angles”

The hotel sits perfectly in the village centre, and parking is available. The panoramic view is stunning, and the staff greet you warmly. The room is clean, and the breakfast served in a room overlooking the village is very good. There were no negative points to mention, though a kettle in the rooms would be a nice addition.

The room was very nice and clean, with a lovely view of the mountains and lake. The staff were very friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised to find breakfast available even though the booking said there was none, and the produce was excellent. We only stayed one night… :)
