Only the location was good! The TV remote didn’t work, the room intercom worked only on the first day and then stopped, the snack was bad, and breakfast was only served because we asked, but it was weak.

The spot was close to where I was doing my training, and the staff was friendly. They even stored my insulin in the fridge, even though it wasn’t required. The room was clean, the shower was warm and great. The train noise kept going until about two in the morning, and then started again around five or six. A lot of people without homes were on the sidewalks, and I heard at least two shouting matches in the middle of the night. The room was very small and I worried about leaving my belongings there because somewhere in the room it says if something disappears the hotel won’t be responsible.

The location is solid – we walked 600 m to Luz station and the staff were friendly. But the room was a nightmare: no AC, no Wi‑Fi, hard pillows, a noisy mattress, bad drainage in the bathroom, and the street traffic was loud. The breakfast was basic and the curtains and phone were broken. It’s a decent spot if you’re willing to overlook the noise and lack of amenities.
