Everything was fine except the bed and pillows. The bed was very hard, and the pillows were too soft.

The hotel sits a touch closer to the airport than I expected, and the shuttle bus makes the commute doable, though the £4 one‑way fare feels a bit steep compared to other airport‑near hotels that offer free shuttles. The Italian receptionist was friendly and helpful during check‑in. We paid extra for breakfast, but the croissants we tried were stale and didn’t live up to our hopes.

We stayed here before our flight out and again on our return. The room was a bit too small for the four of us, but the sofa bed had a comfortable mattress—which isn’t always the case! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful; the restaurant team even made gluten‑free toast for our daughter with celiac disease so she could take it on the rest of her trip. We’ll definitely book this hotel again when using London Stansted Airport.

The hotel is near the airport and parking costs £15, but it’s free for Usafe and Green Motion rental cars, and the staff were generous on several occasions. I got an early check‑in and stayed six hours without paying the extra fee. When I wanted to pay for breakfast, they said not to worry about it. The hotel may not be the most modern, but the price and the staff’s generosity make it the best option.
