Luckily, the manager on duty was understanding and gave us a proper room at no extra charge, which was a nice gesture.
The cleanliness and overall atmosphere make up for it.

The location was ideal for what we wanted to do in nature. The accommodation was very dirty, especially the bathroom, which was terribly filthy.
“Great View, Minor Bathroom Flaws”
The hotel's location was perfect, right on the waterfront with an amazing view of the city skyline. It was a real treat to wake up every morning and see the sun rise over the water. However, the bathroom was a bit of a letdown - there was no separate shower room, which made things a bit cramped when you needed to get ready in the morning. Still, the view was worth putting up with a few minor flaws.
“Not So Standard”
We booked a standard room, but what we got was a room with no air conditioning, no fan, and basically no air circulation. It's a pretty basic expectation for any hotel room, but apparently not here. Luckily, the manager on duty was understanding and gave us a proper room at no extra charge, which was a nice gesture.
“Great Location, Poor Layout”
I was really happy with the hotel's location - it's right in the middle of Wonosobo and Dieng Plateau, making it super convenient for exploring the area. The hotel itself is one of the better options in Dieng, but there's one thing that's a bit of a letdown: the layout. It's not particularly well-designed, but the cleanliness and overall atmosphere make up for it.
