The spot right on the beach is beautiful. The food was very good. Rats gnawed through my backpack and stole my biscuits, and they also ate my soap & toothpaste. It would be a good idea to provide a secure cupboard for guests’ belongings.

Probably the best spot in Sauwandarek, right across from the fantastic reef. We love snorkeling from the beach and everything we dream of seeing is here. Owner Gio is very attentive to our needs and Alex is truly helpful. Thank you all.

Walking from the accommodation to the Sawan Dreck Jetty, I found a variety of tropical fish in the most harmonious and diverse collection I've ever seen. Inside the lodging, there was a bathroom with plenty of water. I arrived after lunch, but the staff kindly prepared a separate meal for me, which I appreciated. The portions were generous and tasty. On the first night, I noticed bedbugs on the bed, and small itchy spots appeared all over my body, which were annoying. I sprayed a bedbug spray I had brought with me, and from the next day onward it was fine.

The grand bungalow featured a beautiful terrace, a bathroom, and a view of the sea. The food was good and plentiful, even for a vegetarian, and the cooks were very friendly. The dining room was large. A lovely coral reef lay directly in front, and even more on the right side facing the sea. The place lacked cleanliness and maintenance.

The location is dreamy, right on the beach and half in the water, giving a true South Sea feeling. The friendly soul is Farrah—absolutely reliable, always available and helpful. Highly recommended. The attached dive base is a disaster. The guides are completely unreliable, and the equipment is terrible.
