Kurohime isn’t the easiest to reach, so it doesn’t get many inbound guests, but the snow quality is good and the ski area is spacious, making it a decent resort. That’s why the hotel should really work on its soft services. The service was slow, the room key was left unattended on the front desk showing poor security awareness, and while the facilities are understandably dated from the Showa era, there’s still room for better management practices.

I was really impressed with the hotel's spaciousness. It felt like a lot of room to breathe, which was a welcome change from some of the other places I've stayed. However, there wasn't really anything that stood out as particularly special or memorable about the experience.
