The hotel really impressed me; the rooms were clean, comfortable, and odor‑free, and the breakfast included in the price was a definite plus. It sits in a nice neighborhood where I felt safe. The only downside was its distance from the city center, so I had to take a taxi or public transport to get around.

The accessible room was spacious, and the breakfast snack kept me satisfied. Angelica (Angel) at check‑in was full of useful info and greeted me with a warm smile. The only drawback was the absence of ice machines.

I liked the free water, but I did NOT LIKE the surprise of extra incidentals $100-$250, which wiped out my meal budget. The receptionist was impersonal and showed no feeling. My daughter and I were placed on the first floor, making us feel unsafe. At 1 am, the people over us were making loud noises. The bathtub had a hole or two. Stains were prevalent on the drapes. Someone’s child was playing outside my window at an hour God only knows. I literally cried. I was overwhelmed with unexpected disappointments. I’ve never experienced Best Western at this level of disapproval. Can I get a refund?

The hotel is reasonably close to the University of Maryland and the price was affordable. Unfortunately, on the first night a cockroach appeared in the bathroom, and around the third day some kind of flying insect showed up inside the room.
