Sorriso Thermae Resort & Spa overlooks Citara Bay and Poseidon Gardens from a hilltop location. The 4-star resort features 5 thermal pools with hydromassage jets, a wellness and fitness centre, and elegant rooms with air conditioning and satellite TV. Three restaurants, a spa, and a children's pool are also available, with free shuttle to Citara Beach and Forio D'Ischia harbour.

Breakfast was good, the hotel pools and the location near Poseidon thermal baths. And of course the sunsets from the lower pool. We were there at the end of September, the waterfall at the lower pool was already not working.

Everything was great, the hotel was clean, the view from the room was wonderful, breakfasts were tasty, the transfer to the beach and back was a very convenient option, and when we arrived they met us on the ferry and took us back after the vacation. The staff were extremely friendly, I want to return there again. If you don’t make it to the beach transfer in time, the descent to the sea and especially the ascent can be somewhat tiring, but it’s not critical.

The building offers an excellent sea view and the thermal pool services are great; I also enjoyed the abundant breakfast. The only drawback was the issue with bees or wasps surrounding the food, which made me hesitate to go back. The sea‑view room they assigned me was not as expected from the photos—it felt a bit old and poorly maintained for a 4‑star property, and the hotel’s main rooms were noticeably better.

The room appearance and comfort as well as use of the thermal pools. Breakfast was a good variety. The salads at the pool bar were excellent. The AC in the rooms was barely adequate. Food was expensive in the on-site restaurants. The cleanliness of the pools could be improved. Location did not lend itself to shopping or walking to any restaurants
