It was a very beautiful apartment with tasteful (lots of attention to detail) and practical furnishings. I could even leave used dishes on a “clean‑up tray” in the hallway. There was also a kettle and a coffee machine with capsules (excellent coffee!). The room and bathroom were spacious and everything was spotless. A small terrace with a hammock was included—very pretty! Unfortunately the exterior lighting of the building and the surroundings were too bright to see the Aurora from the hammock, but the nearby lighthouse was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. I felt very at ease and would come back anytime.

The property was thoughtfully designed with lovely décor. Though it lacks a kitchen, it does offer a table, chairs, and dishes. The location was great—we walked to a nearby restaurant, grocery store, and ice‑cream shop. The weather didn’t cooperate, so we missed using the outdoor area. We are short and would have preferred a better view from the window; the fence was a bit too tall for us. Those who aren’t vertically challenged won’t mind.

Staying here felt like a pleasure; every detail was prepared with care and thoughtfulness. The designated parking lot is the best. The only downside was the absence of a table lamp.

We had plenty of room for all our gear. On the final night of a 10‑night island‑wide tour, we brought three massive luggage bags and could spread everything out with extra space. With a lot of dirty laundry and wet coats, we were able to separate, organize, and air‑dry everything. The fridge was handy, and the shower was great. The assigned parking spot was ideal; we backed into it with the trunk just feet from the entrance. My wife loves lighthouses, and there are two within minutes of the location with easy parking. Quiet, comfortable, and close to everything we wanted to do. There was nothing we didn’t like about this apartment. It met all our needs, and if I ever return to Iceland, I’ll book here again. During our 10 nights, we stayed in a few cramped places, but this apartment felt like home with room to breathe.
