The power went out right after sunset and stayed that way until we left, ruining our experience. The staff couldn’t do anything about it and their response was zero; no candles or flashlights were provided, and there was no coffee at breakfast.

A hotel that isn’t especially original by its name, yet it delivers high quality. Even though Fécamp was cold that time of year, the place kept us warm and comfortable, especially thanks to the bedding.

I had stayed there before and my friend booked directly, paying the right price, and I got a room with two beds even though I was alone; when I returned to Fécamp I chose the same hotel again. This time, the advertised rate was about 85 euros but I paid 107 on arrival. I was with my 10‑year‑old son and we received a room with a double bed; in the morning there was no hot water, and then the electricity cut out, so we couldn’t have hot drinks for breakfast.
