The balcony offered amazing views, and the place was cool and relaxed; the owner was super friendly and helpful. The room itself was spacious and nice, though it felt a bit hot for me— the AC could be lowered a touch, but overall it was a great spot and I’d definitely return.

We booked this place because of the many positive reviews on Booking and were really looking forward to our stay. During our vacation a severe heatwave hit, so a working air‑conditioner was essential. The listing said an AC was available, but when we arrived we found it did not cool the room adequately. It could be set to 25 °C, but it practically did nothing. We measured the room temperature ourselves – it was 33 °C in the evening while the outside temperature was 34 °C. The ceiling fan was also broken and wobbled so badly we were afraid it might fall. We immediately showed both issues to the host and recorded videos as proof. The only temporary fix offered was a small fan. Twice we were told a technician would come to check the AC, but nothing changed and the problem persisted for the entire stay. Under those conditions we could not enjoy our holiday and had to leave early. The heat was almost unbearable and there was hardly any fresh air. When we told the host we were leaving, she said she had already bought a new AC. Later we read on Google that a family with a dog had reported exactly the same problem about four weeks earlier, so the issue was apparently known. At these temperatures a non‑working AC is not only uncomfortable but can be dangerous for dogs, children and the elderly. Too bad the property had great potential. We hope the AC problem is permanently fixed so future guests won’t have the same experience.
