The relaxed vibe is great, especially because it’s on the beach. It’s hard to get there, only by 4x4 and searching around. The facilities are very rustic and neglected, and it’s only okay if the price matched; it’s extremely expensive for what it offers. WiFi is bad.

We really enjoyed our stay. Miguel, his wife, and son were incredibly warm, kind, friendly, and inspiring people. Miguel is also an interesting conversational partner. The place is beautiful and wonderfully situated by the sea with a large, lovely garden. The cabins for sleeping are very basic, but that’s exactly what makes them charming. We also liked the village of El Cocal and the everyday life on the peninsula. Support the locals and grab a bite at the local restaurant or shop at the small stores. Be sure to visit Milo’s turtle release program and ask if you can join the evening patrol to see the big turtles lay eggs. We had a great time with Miguel on the peninsula and absolutely recommend it.

The beach location is spectacular and the owners are very friendly and attentive; I had a connection issue but they helped right away. The facilities could use improvement and there isn’t much privacy.
