Parking was ample, the staff were very friendly and efficient, the food was good, and the room was clean and comfortable; the only problems were that the coffee machine worked only intermittently and the bath should have had a non‑slip mat because I fell but managed to stop.

The pub had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and helpful; it’s a great spot for visiting Great Missenden, and the evening meal was also delicious.

The staff were friendly and helpful except for one occasion, the bags had character, and Timothy Taylor’s Landlord was close to family; they went beyond the call with my luggage. The bar closed early and eccentric, breakfast times were too early, and the low beams were painful.

The place is charming and pretty, and the location is great. The food and service were outstanding, and everyone was very friendly. The rooms feel very dated, with broken fixtures and fittings, a cracked glass dressing table, mold in the bathroom, a shower screen that isn’t rubber‑sealed, and no walled bathroom mirror. The coffee machine is excellent, with plenty of coffee, milk, tea, and bottled water.

The room was lovely , the grounds was also lovely. The cleaner was exceptional 👌 the meal we had at lunch was very nice. The full English in the morning was terrible. Raw sausage , 2 very overcooked eggs , hardly any beans . We complained and was given the breakfast for free 9
