Nearby attractions include Linlithgow Palace, Blackness Castle, the Falkirk Wheel, and Hopetoun House, all within 15 minutes' drive. The hotel features en suite bathrooms, TVs, and tea/coffee facilities in each room, along with a grill restaurant, lounge bar, and live entertainment.

The location and the gastropub below the hotel were great, but the finishes were poor, the bathroom had no hand soap, and there was no blackout curtain in the room.

The staff were very friendly, but the room was dirty and an animal droppings were found between the bed and the nightstand, which was quite scary.

Parking was convenient, the room was clean with comfortable beds and a good TV, the hotel was quiet and offered plenty of biscuits, tea, and coffee. However, the kettle didn’t work, the hairdryer was broken, the bathroom lacked a place to hang wet towels or clothes, and the bathroom door lock was faulty. I booked the hotel because the website photo showed a large family room, but we were given a much smaller family room that was outside in a motel‑style setting with an external bedroom door, which was not what I expected since I thought the rooms were inside the hotel.

The value for money was good, but the bathroom was not very clean, especially behind the doors.

The dinner was tasty and the staff were friendly and helpful, yet the room had odd furniture and cleaning was done behind doors and outside windows.
