The accommodation is truly a dream! Staying in an old castle is a unique experience, and the rooms look even better in person than on the pictures. The food is excellent, so we ate there every evening and watched the sunset. The view is indescribably beautiful. Breakfast is à la carte with healthy, Indian, pancake options, etc. Tamak, the owner, is a genuinely kind person who gladly supports everything. He and his team made our stay truly special. I wholeheartedly recommend this place! It’s one of the best we’ve booked on our India trip.
“Je recommande cet hotel a tous ceux qui viennent a Jaisalmer.”
Everything is clean, beautiful, located on the fortress walls with a magnificent view of the city. All staff are very friendly and smiling. Nothing else.
I was quite disappointed with the room size: it was very large, yet the bathroom was cramped, poorly arranged, and the sink wasn’t connected to a floor drain, so every time I used it my feet got wet—especially annoying when brushing my teeth. The bedding and pillows were also uncomfortable. Watching the sunrise from the room’s window was nice, but the best view was from the terrace. Other rooms are much more pleasant! There were a huge number of mosquitoes! The bathroom needs a redo, and it’s hard to tell who’s supposed to be working there.
“Solo pitstop in Jaislamer”
A hidden gem in the heart of the fort, it was the perfect spot to rest before continuing my travels. The staff were super sweet and welcoming! I stayed in the Maharaja room, which offered a lovely city view from a beautiful window seat. The room was spotless, spacious, with a large bathroom, fans, AC, and Wi‑Fi. The food on the roof terrace was great. The location was excellent—right in the hub of things yet quiet and private—making it a home away from home. I’ll definitely return! Highly recommend! The only downside is that I didn’t stay longer 😉

If you’re heading to Jaipur, I strongly recommend staying inside the fort! The host is incredibly kind, the room is very clean and comfortable, and the terrace offers a great view. It seems many Japanese guests stay there, so it feels reassuring. I, a solo female traveler, had a comfortable stay.
