The view was fantastic and we had a blast kayaking and splitting firewood, while dinner was a lavish barbecue and the breakfast offered a wide, tasty selection that left us satisfied; we also enjoyed free access to the nearby Hinata no Yado hot springs, which felt wonderful. The problem was that, despite having arranged a children’s barbecue dinner in advance, we were served a hamburger set instead, and although they corrected the meal promptly, they never delivered enough chopsticks despite asking twice, forcing us to use forks that made eating awkward; additionally, around 8 pm we received a vague warning email from the facility about that day’s conditions, which made us wonder how well they were monitoring things, and the pricing confused us because the same room and plan appeared with three different rates, a question we raised by email only to get an unclear answer that it might be about meal inclusion.
