“Super expérience au gîte La paille”
The atmosphere was convivial, and there was nothing to complain about.

I’m really glad I chose to stay at La Paille and I truly enjoyed my short stay there; it was a very comfortable and relaxing environment and the interaction with other travelers was great. The bed was clean and comfortable, all facilities were excellent, and the property is very remote with a beautiful view of the mountains. Emile was an excellent and very friendly host and makes a great breakfast. If I ever come back to the area I’ll definitely stay again.
The establishment was very friendly, the room was comfortable, breakfast was full, the atmosphere was great, and thanks to Émile for his kindness.
“Beautiful place to rest, cats included!”
It was my favorite stay on the GR54, very nice and the host was outdoorsy and helpful, with three beautiful and affectionate cats; the whole place felt cozy and had a calm energy, almost as if the house grew from nature instead of being built by people. Breakfast was delicious with good bread, a lot of different jams, fruit and müsli, the kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean, and I would love to stay there again someday. The only downside is there’s no Wi‑Fi, but I didn’t mind that.
The vibe was that of a youth hostel, I felt comfortable, the welcome was very good, and I recommend it.
