“Thank you”
The staff were lovely, especially Receptionist Audrey, who did so much for us, and there was nothing negative.
“One comfortable nights stay”
We found our room cozy and perfectly suited to what we needed, and the staff were genuinely helpful and kind. The leisure facilities were a nice bonus, and the spot was ideal for a visit to Culross. The only hiccup was that the steam room in the leisure area was broken, but that’s just how things go.
“Clean, comfortable and great location with a car.”
The old‑style hotel was very comfortable, clean, and the breakfast was excellent. The restaurant offered tasty food with a new menu each night, and the staff were friendly. The spot was great for seeing Stirling and Edinburgh, though a car is necessary. The rooms felt a bit dated, but otherwise it was fine.
“The hotel is in a good location, has friendly staff, a nice lounge/bar to sit in and an excellent gym/pool facil”
The room was roomy and the bed was comfortable, and everyone on the front desk was warm and welcoming. On Sunday morning the breakfast was chaotic—no hot dishes were on the table and there was no hot water for tea, which seemed to be a kitchen‑service mix‑up. After a short time it got better, but the fruit and cheese never showed up while we were there.
“Slept well in comfortable beds and quiet location. For an overnight stop over was fine. Not a destination hotel.”
Quiet Location , comfortable beds. Very dated rooms
