There was no breakfast, but everything else was good.

I liked the secluded parking, the outdoor tables, gazebo, and the layout. I didn’t like the see‑through stained glass window to the commons – it needs curtains. The bed moved like a boat whenever I tried to change positions. lol

The staff were outstanding! Whatever I needed, they were right there with a solution. I ordered DoorDash, which arrived in aluminum containers, and they gave me a plate and a bowl to microwave it in. My phone charger was dying, so they lent me one for the whole stay. It was the '90s the whole time, so I was taking two showers a day. I told housekeeping I needed towels, and they arrived in under 20 minutes. Cody is a rockstar! I started my day on the patio and he always checked in on me. The quality of the items they provided was fabulous – probably the best toilet paper I’ve ever used, refreshing after the last three places that had Charmin’s professional line, which is thin tissue. The disposable coffee cups were high‑quality insulated. What a treat! I loved the gazebo with the jazz music speaker and the fan. Even though I’m a large person, the chairs were very comfortable and the cushions lovely. It was so peaceful! After a day in the noise and bustle of the French Quarter, it was soothing to return to my quiet oasis. I felt very safe and secure within the hotel’s compound, which let me relax. I can’t imagine a better experience. There were no USB charging outlets. One B&B I stayed at had touch lamps on the nightstand tables with USB ports and an electrical socket in the lamp base; I loved them so much I bought one when I got home. I also would have liked a radio tuned to local stations, and free magazines that show current and upcoming events, plus a free map of the quarter. These are extra items, and their absence didn’t detract from my stay.
