The outdoor setting is beautiful, with the lake and surrounding scenery, and the staff are very welcoming. However, the indoor and outdoor equipment, as well as the direct beach area and its facilities, are very outdated. The rooms are poorly sound‑proofed.

I really liked the location – the starry sky at night was amazing! The owners were very kind and full of useful information. The price is reasonable for the spot. The only downside was hearing other guests’ activities from my room.

The location, available parking, efficient heating, and the fridge in the room are all positives. The thin walls let you hear people in the neighboring room, the bed is a bit smaller than a standard double, and the kitchen is old – two of the four stove burners don’t work.

The beds are comfortable, the staff are welcoming and met our expectations, there isn’t much noise around, and the lake is accessible. The bathroom isn’t heated and the window is open and unreachable, so it freezes when it’s very cold outside.

We had a great stay at the motel, the welcome was friendly, the room amenities were decent, and we could canoe or paddle for free thanks to the motel’s private beach, although those facilities could use a refresh. The water‑sports gear is getting old.
