“Great option in Banyuwangi”
Spending a few nights in Banyuwangi at this spot was solid; the spacious, comfy room on the top floor offered breathtaking views of Mt Ijen from the balcony on clear days. The staff stayed friendly and helpful throughout, the pool area was tidy and the water was great for a swim, and we ordered room‑service dinners on several nights that were really good. I’d recommend it as a base for exploring Banyuwangi and Ijen. The breakfast buffet was a touch mediocre—there’s room for improvement—and I’d suggest earplugs for sleeping because a lot of noise, especially during the early call to prayer, seeps in.
“Mauvais rapport qualité prix”
The reception team were incredibly helpful, yet the rooms looked dated and weren’t cleaned well—there were ants and cockroaches. Fortunately we were able to switch both of our rooms, thanks to the front‑desk staff.
“Great hotel, convenient location”
Nice hotel, clean room well maintained, and a lovely restaurant.
“Dispute over faulty fridge spoiled our stay. So silly.”
I was given a room with a broken fridge, and the only fix was to swap it for a working one, which the staff wouldn’t do unless I threatened a major complaint. The whole thing felt unnecessary and showed a clear lack of customer‑relations training.
The hotel looks nice and the staff is good, but the morning call to prayer at 4 am is very loud.
