“Pas de séjour mais une très mauvaise surprise!”

I’m responding after the insistence of Booking… I had already reported that I had to leave without even checking in; the building was in disrepair, people were washing cars in the parking while others were dumping items from the hotel’s basements (moving?) onto the floor. I tried to call the number that had contacted me at the start of the day: the man was unkind and insisted on knowing the exact time of my arrival, 16 h 45 or 17 h? I arrived as agreed at 17 h, but no one was at reception despite two calls and doorbells. I looked through the window next to reception and everything was in chaos; I got scared and decided to leave and find another hotel (hence a second expense!). I tried to reach the person who had contacted me, but never received a reply.

The room was noisy because of other guests and the loud music coming from the hallway made it hard to relax.

I had no positives to mention. The hotel had broken tiles and only offered sheets, though at least it wasn’t cold. The reception staff were unfriendly and it felt like an abandoned hotel. I had booked here two or three years ago and was welcomed warmly in a very clean place, so I returned with my eyes closed, only to be deeply disappointed this time. I won’t stay here again and would advise others to avoid it.

“Très déçue”

The hotel was nicely sound‑proofed and easy to get to, yet it was under construction without any warning, the restaurant was closed with no notice, and construction materials cluttered the common areas right in front of our room and the reception; the parking lot was littered with old‑equipment waste, renovation rooms were left open with curtains hanging outside, a cat roamed freely leaving a strong smell near the front desk and its food was left out in the breakfast room, and the two‑person room only offered a single hygiene kit, one large bath towel and a small one—overall a very disappointing first experience.

“Una sola notte, non di lusso, ma alla fine abbastanza comoda.”

The hotel sat in a lousy spot right beside the highway, but at the end of a quiet side street where no one passed, and for the price it was decent even though it was a 2‑star property I would never have booked had I noticed the rating, with a surprisingly pleasant shower for a place of that class; however, the staff seemed to have mixed up the towels, providing only one set for two guests.
