Eight Rest Hostel Myeongdong

The room was compact but impeccably clean, and the shower and toilet were unit style, yet the shower curtain kept the toilet seat dry and comfortable. I appreciated the shower slippers that were provided. The staff were extremely helpful, even carrying my suitcase up to the third floor where there is no elevator. I also tried the nearby Samgyeopsal restaurant the staff recommended, and it was delicious! The free space in the basement was convenient. Overall, I was very satisfied with the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff and I would stay again.

“Bardzo udany pobyt. Polecam!”

The place was very clean. Free ramen, coffee, and tea were available, along with a shared kitchen, ironing board, and iron. Upstairs there was a pleasant terrace where you could sit and eat. There was also a smoking area. One of the reception men quickly helped us order a taxi because we were in a hurry for the train. He also assisted with our luggage and led us to where the taxi was waiting. In every situation, the staff were reliable. The room was very small and the view from the window was just a wall of the building, but for the price there’s nothing to complain about. The cleanliness and superb location make up for it.

“Çok merkezi, temiz, güvenli, ilgili çalışanlar”

The staff were very attentive and, despite the lack of an elevator, always helped with our luggage without us having to ask. The location is incredibly central, so you can grab a few items and drop them off in your room right away. Cleaning was done daily and the hot water was quite good. Honestly, the street where it’s located might seem a bit odd at first, but thanks to the easy transport and the staff’s attentiveness, I had no negative impressions.

“Perfekte Lage in beengtem Zimmer”

The hotel’s location is ideal, right in the lively Myeongdong area with a night market just around the corner, easy metro access, and shops nearby. You can brew coffee or use the kitchen and even the washing machine. We expected a larger room based on the photos; for two people with suitcases and hand luggage it felt cramped. There was no wardrobe, so we had to live with our suitcases, which was a real challenge in such a small space. The bathroom was a compromise—both a toilet with shower and a shower with toilet. The only spot for a TV (which we didn’t use anyway) was just above the sink.

“Excelente lugar para hospedarse.”

Excelente ubicación! Todo estaba muy limpio y cómodo, muy recomendado. Está cerca de la estación del metro lo que es bastante cómodo. Todo perfecto! Ojo, no está cerca de la línea del metro directa al aeropuerto, pero no es realmente un inconveniente ya que está muy bien conectado
