The price and location were decent. The bed and pillows were the hardest I've slept on, and after paying for a continental breakfast I discovered that half of the promised items were missing. When I asked, the staff blamed earlier guests for taking everything, even though we were among the first to arrive. I should have asked for a refund.

The room was excellent, clean and comfortable. The staff polite, and helpful, the facilities very good. It's Mexborough, but on the edge, you do pass by a bit of a run down industrial area, but once past that, you're into newer housing and a bit of greenery
