Everything was wonderful—people were very cheerful and helpful, especially Manfrad, Sodiso, and Eloíza! We didn't notice any negatives.

The hotel sits nicely in Cape Town, with beautiful ocean views and a decent gym that has good-quality treadmills, but the service—especially at breakfast—was far below expectations. It was extremely inconsistent and inefficient; no one proactively took our order, and getting served seemed to depend entirely on luck. At this price point, guests should be approached shortly after being seated, without having to constantly look for someone to assist them. Worse still, staff would sometimes clear our plates and cutlery while we were still using them. There seemed to be plenty of staff around, but a clear lack of coordination and proper training was evident. The issue is not the number of employees, but how the service is managed. Additionally, the power outlets in our room stopped working for an entire night, which was another frustrating inconvenience.

The ocean view and the cleanliness of the hotel were excellent, but the rooms, breakfast, and customer service were clean.

Breakfast was a highlight of the day, especially the friendly and "keen to assist" Solomon, whom treated us like family. Always there and even remembering the coffee/tea preferences from day 2! The suite was spacious with a great view from the balcony. Room was only once been "freshened up" in the evening, when we were out for dinner (other 2 x nights we felt a bit neglected). The suite kitchen was not attended to during the last full day (26 Sep), as the coffee pot for the Nespresso, which I have used the previous day, were not refilled. Cups and spoons were not placed back near the coffee machine and the rubbish bin in the kitchen were not emptied
