The hotel is close to Gare de l’Est and the bathroom was clean. The walls are not sound‑proofed, and at the reception I had to wait a long time for staff to come to the desk. There was a smell of fresh paint on the day I arrived.

I was traveling with a friend to Paris, and the rooms were close together on the second floor. The room I got had a view of a blank wall, so there was no real outlook, while my friend could see the side street and the apartments across the street, so the curtains were almost closed. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was on the first floor. The hotel is within walking distance of Gare d’Est, Gare du Nord, and the bus stop on Boulevard Strasbourg. It was fun to sit on the bus! I was disappointed with the black‑and‑white TV that only had French channels, and there was no other entertainment. The noise level was high, so I kept two fans on in the room all evening and night to drown out the hotel and outside sounds.

Good beds. Clean. Spacious bathroom. Very close to Gare du Nord station and metro at 100 meters. No pleasant street; many African people hanging around, noisy.

Perfect, with nothing to say.
