We knew the place was on the first floor, a challenge for my handicapped wife. We’ve dealt with this before, but the stairs were a bit tough for her. The hosts quickly offered to bring breakfast to our room. Drumroll. Corseul turned out to be a good choice. Dinan nearby was very busy at the end of August. Nothing. As expected or better.

The house was large, full of character and history, with spacious, old‑style rooms that were beautifully decorated; it sat in a convenient village location with a bar, restaurant, and boulangerie nearby, and the continental breakfast was served in a lovely lounge setting; parking was secure on site and the hosts were friendly, helpful, and cheerful.

The accommodation was very lovingly, cozy, and romantically furnished – you feel at ease right away; the two hosts were extremely warm and pleasant, making our stay especially enjoyable; the breakfast was also very good and beautifully presented; essentially nothing was lacking – we felt completely comfortable.

Annette and Cat, the two very friendly hosts, welcomed us into a uniquely designed home full of detail and love; we had a spacious room with a garden view, clean and well‑maintained, equipped with towels, bathrobes, a hair dryer, a kettle, and a Nespresso machine; the modern bathroom was lovely; we savored a plentiful “français petit déjeuner” with little surprises; we gladly accepted Annette and Cat’s excellent travel tips and enjoyed them daily.
