Everything was perfect, but they had the pool closed for the season even though it was scorching; they did say we could still use it.

The room was great, but the food in the restaurant was pretty bad—the fish was dry, a real shame! The staff were friendly but quite incompetent, and the wine specialist had no idea about the wines 😢.

Overall a nice spot above the city with the main sights within walking distance, the facilities are sparse but sufficient. Room quality varies a lot. A small park with a swimming pool is good for drinks, parking is shady, and the panoramic restaurant has friendly service and a solid breakfast. The cramped room 16 with a view of a gravel roof is hardly tolerable for a three‑night stay when better rooms are available; rooms in the annex are clearly better.
