The spot is fantastic! The terrace is huge and great, with a small view of the sea and Etna, perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. The room has Italian charm, quiet for sleeping and resting. Even though the host doesn’t hand you the keys directly (they’re in a box, which I prefer), the host and housekeeping staff are available and responsive to any questions. Water is available in the fridge. The value for money is superb. It’s a shame there’s no coffee machine and the shower jet is weak.

We really enjoyed our stay at 96 Guest House. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and everything matched the description and photos. We especially loved the balcony — it was a lovely place to relax. The location was convenient, with everything we needed nearby. The hosts were friendly and attentive. A great place to stay in Reggio Calabria!

The place was spot‑on, practically in the middle of the city, and the room was immaculate. The balcony surprised me with a gorgeous view of the sea and Sicily—absolutely loved it. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. Right beside the hotel sits an excellent Mexican‑Italian restaurant that I highly recommend. If I come back to the city, I’ll definitely book here again. Tutto bene!

The hotel sits very close to the centre, and the room was spacious and clean. The balcony was awesome, which made my stay enjoyable. Lift.

Everything was very nice, the rooms were wide and comfortable, and the covered terrace offered a panoramic view of the city roofs and the Sicilian coast; it’s almost on the fourth level (three floors with a small, slow but working lift/monorail) plus a raised platform to descend to the street. It definitely deserves a 10, but I gave 9.00 because of the breakfast… maybe an extra 10 euros could make it more varied. The rooms were clean and refreshed daily, equipped with air‑conditioning and two TVs—one in the room and one on the terrace. The bus stop is 100 m away, the Reggio promenade 300 m, and the train station about 1 km, very convenient for heading to Scilla. I think the breakfast is just the small neo of the structure, as it isn’t served in the guesthouse but in a nice bar 100 m away. The staff are very kind and available, but unfortunately there isn’t much choice for coffee or cappuccino and only one option among the huge and varied croissants.
