Panviman Resort Koh Phangan

The hotel sits in a wonderful hillside forest by a beautiful beach, service is excellent, breakfast is very good with a great variety and a beautiful setting, and the resort is just on the main street of the village, a short walk from all restaurants, massage places and shops. The gym is large and comfortable. The hotel team is very kind, responsive and helpful. The family room was huge with a perfect view. The seawater at this beach comes from a lake full of algae and is relatively stagnant. The jacuzzi water was yellowish on the first day (the hotel team said it was due to a broken main pipe). Moving around is only possible by buying a club car (availability is good).

Rooms are spacious and roomy, breakfast is generous, the view is dreamy, and the beach stretch is stunning with fun food stalls all around; the pool is designed with the view in a stunning way. Everything was perfect!

We got to the hotel via its ferry service, which was comfortable and convenient, landing straight at the private pier. We booked a room with a private pool, but the first room we got had no sea view, felt outdated, and wasn't very inviting. We asked for a change and received an upgraded room at no extra cost, which we appreciated. The main let‑down was the food quality at the hotel; compared to the neighboring Santhiya, Panviman’s food was noticeably lower in quality and variety, and Santhiya seemed better maintained overall.
