“Schönes Hostel mit großen Einschränkungen”
The accommodation is beautifully designed and very clean, and the room offers a nice view of the lake. Breakfast is adequate. However, there was no drinking water, the Wi‑Fi barely worked, and the owner didn't answer questions (for example, tea was available in the common kitchen but there was no kettle, and several WhatsApp inquiries went unanswered). The water never got hot and I got an electric shock from the shower. At night it was VERY loud, with children screaming late into the evening and people leaving their alarm clocks on at 4 am until I knocked on their doors; this happened several times. Music was also played at night, sometimes it sounded like furniture was being moved. The host offered no help or feedback. Booking states you can pay in dollars, but the reception only accepts them after a discussion. The location is fine but outside the city center and it takes a while to walk uphill with luggage, which is quite annoying.
