I was thrilled to find the hotel right by the sea and the breakfast, included and generous, was a real treat; overall the place was clean. However, even though it was cheaper than other nearby options, some things fell below standard: the door locks wouldn’t open, the air‑conditioning was old, there was no soap holder in the shower and the showers were full of limescale. The most annoying issue was the phone that rang randomly in the room at 3 am; I told reception, and the gentleman said we shouldn’t even have a phone in the room and that we should just unplug the handset.

The hotel is close to the sea, the beds are comfortable and the furnishings are modern. The breakfast area is cramped, especially where you grab hot drinks, and room 220 had a sewage smell and the air‑conditioning didn’t work.

I don’t recommend this old hotel; the location is fine, but the rooms are tiny and the smell is awful. Parking is paid, and after you leave there’s nowhere to leave your car.
