I booked a private cabin that was very clean and spacious, though the sheets feel a bit thick or rough; otherwise everything was excellent. The food was tasty and not expensive, and volunteer Mafe and bar staff Kevin were both very friendly. However, we had an uncomfortable moment with House staff Camila, who was giving us details about a techno party we weren’t interested in; when my partner asked the cost, her reply was dismissive and condescending, and she refused to take a photo of us with the Dutch guests we were sharing the cabin with. I think everyone should be treated equally.

The place is great if you want to stay near Tayrona Park or just relax, so I even stayed an extra night. The rooms are wide and nice, and the staff—especially Dayana, Oswald, and Jesús—were very attentive and helped us a lot. There are activities to meet new people, and I’d definitely return. Everything was fine.

The resort looks nice and the restaurant serves delicious food. They charge for everything, and prices are extremely high for basic items. My dorm wasn’t clean; I found leftover tissues under my pillow and other stuff, and the shower was full of empty shampoo bottles—clearly they don’t clean well. The staff weren’t very kind and always asked for service and tip fees on everything.

The common area is pretty good. There’s no internet in the rooms or cabins, no 3G signal, and for two days we had no power, making us completely unreachable.
