The room had a “retro” vibe but was modernly furnished; the hotel itself with its congress center was very contemporary and excellent for events. I value cleanliness and especially breakfast, which I found too small, with limited choices even though egg dishes and the like were freshly cooked on order.

The hotel sits on the outskirts but in a beautiful garden setting; my son stayed in the nearby student residence and the proximity was great. Though far from the city center, it’s well connected by public transport. The place is very quiet.

Breakfast is good quality with a nice display of fresh fruit, bakery items, and cooked food available on request. The staff are friendly and service is excellent. The venue is ideal for seminars, conferences, etc., and also popular for weddings, so parties often run late and can be noisy.

Location mattered to me because I had something to do nearby. I would have liked a small bottle of water in the room, no coffee machine, no fridge—very basic. There were few towels, always in the bathroom, and the price didn’t feel justified.
