Located three minutes from the beach and one kilometre from Paestum’s archaeological site, Hotel Poseidonia Mare offers free private parking, bicycle rentals, and a fitness area. Air‑conditioned rooms include Wi‑Fi, minibar and satellite TV. The on‑site restaurant serves local cuisine—homemade pasta, buffalo mozzarella, organic vegetables—while a wine bar showcases regional selections, with garden aperitifs beside an ancient spring in spring and summer.

A charming, historic hotel built in 1965, with furnishings that feel a bit dated but a recently upgraded bathroom. Some of the new fixtures could be more securely fastened 😄. Owner Alessandro is exceptionally warm and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly, attentive, and seemed to anticipate every need. Highly recommended—you feel like family. The dinner was the highlight: everything fresh, tasty, lots of fish and seafood—better than any meal I've had in Italy, where almost all guests were Italian. The beach is only 5 minutes away. Everything else was fine.

We loved the impeccable cleanliness, the kitchen, and the family‑like atmosphere. The location is just a few meters from the sea, and the hotel is truly a pearl maintained excellently by the family. The owners, especially Alessandro and Vincenzo, make you feel at home, pampered, and give the vacation a genuine sense of relaxation. Their smiles are rare and worth it, showing commitment and passion. We stayed with our child and I highly recommend it. I couldn't find a flaw; what initially seemed odd—the limited menu options—turns into an incredible value: simple dishes made with top‑quality ingredients, generous portions, and the willingness to prepare anything else. I appreciate the focus on reducing waste and paying more attention. The only suggestion—though I repeat, it's a tiny detail—is to refresh certain parts of the hotel like the bar counter.

Excellent service and all the staff were great. They were fully available, even when changing the menu. The place was spotless. Definitely 100% recommendable; we had a wonderful stay.
