Cheap, close to the beach, and still in a quiet lane, which I liked. It’s next to the railway, but that’s fine. The owner was helpful in arranging charging facilities for my electric tuk‑tuk and is a no‑nonsense type, which I prefer. For me it was OK.

Convenient location, close to the beach, bus and train stations, and a large market with fresh seafood, vegetables, and fruit within a 5‑minute walk. The host, Gayan, is very friendly and always ready to help. He happily cooks in the small, cozy kitchen with all the necessary utensils. The Wi‑Fi signal in the room is very good. Trains pass right next to the guest house, which is noisy, but not a big deal and didn’t bother me much.
