Penzion Znojmo

The place sits a 10‑minute stroll from Znojmo centre and sits right next to the train and bus station, with an Albert supermarket right next door. The beds were comfy, and most rooms came with a small fridge and a kettle; a few rooms even had a great TV. On the downside, there was no staff on site and I didn’t get the check‑in instructions until after we’d already arrived, which was later than expected. In the hot weather there was no air conditioning and not every room had a fan. Room quality varied – some had a kettle, others didn’t – and the pension looks tired and dated overall; fresh towels would be welcome.

We needed to stay one night. The place was self‑service and nothing else. We drove to the centre for breakfast.

The rooms were clean and suitable for a short stay, the supermarket was about 5 minutes away, the place was quiet, and the storage space was enough for a brief visit. We had a loft apartment that was sweltering; there was no air conditioning, so a fan would have helped.

The property is in the centre, close to shops and markets. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, and even a small kitchenette for a quick meal is missing – there was only a kettle, no microwave. Other places I’ve stayed in Znojmo offered those amenities. On the bright side, the staff were very helpful.
