“An enjoyable stay, I would stay here again”
Nice spot to stay while visiting Bologna, good location near the bus stop and about 25 minutes walking straight to the old city centre. I took the cheap way from the airport with the Q line bus and then changed two more buses to reach the property for 2.30 euro (the ticket is valid for 75 minutes). I enjoyed my one‑night stay because my main goal was to visit the temporary exhibition on Queen and Freddie Mercury at the Museo della musica. I loved the spacious Bologna room (the red one); everything was new and modern, and I liked the bathroom and the shower. The kitchen in the common area is also nice and modern, with three tables matching the room colours set up for breakfast. The owner left plenty of food and drinks for me in the fridge in the room and on the desk. I’m used to the Italian style of breakfast, but this one offered more than expected and it was fine for me. The bed and pillows were comfy, and the nighttime silence made for a good sleep, which I appreciated. The owner sent me all written instructions for self‑check‑in with explanatory videos and photos. Nice and friendly owner, he helped me open the door when I couldn’t get in and I think I blocked the code. The self‑check‑in was challenging the first time; you have to read all the instructions carefully, use exactly the codes with the pictograms and numbers, and watch the videos. Modern tech can be a bit difficult for some people 😇. Lately, I travel mostly cashless with my Revolut card, but don’t forget to bring some cash for the city tax, which must be paid in cash at the property. It’s not a big issue but keep that in mind.
