“Good, clean, convenient.”
Breakfast wasn’t offered, and I knew the bedroom would be small, but I’m a tidy traveller, so it worked out.
“Poor”
The location was good, but when we tried to check in the hotel’s front doors were locked and we had to call a number to get in; the line rang several times with no answer, so we were stuck in the rain for 20 minutes. When the door finally opened, the attendant was rude and pretended he’d just arrived, even though we had to bang on the front door multiple times because he wouldn’t answer the phone—he even had an AirPod in, so it’s no wonder we couldn’t get in.
Convenient clean compact. Hanging coats above where the kettle was
I stayed just one night because we had to leave early the next day for St Pancras; the place was quiet, had air conditioning, and you can leave bags if you arrive early. It's only two blocks from St Pancras International, which is handy if you need to travel on short notice. The area around the hotel isn’t great for staying longer.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, letting us store our luggage for free before and after check‑in/check‑out, and I liked that the room had air conditioning. The bed bases were dirty, though the sheets were clean. The room was very small—just fine for one night, but cramped for two people and their luggage. The bathroom fan didn’t work, and the fire alarm briefly went off in the middle of the night.
