Walking in, the air was thick with cigarette smoke and everything felt outdated; the faucet in the sink fell off its handle, the spring mattress showed clear signs of mould, a long hair lay in the middle of a drawer, dust covered the jacuzzi, and the salty eggs at breakfast were crawling with ants… to top it off, the room we booked didn’t match what we got on site… it was miserable.

The lighting inside the room created a decent effect, yet the sink collected water, the room being on the second floor forced us up a spiral staircase which made moving things a hassle, and the shower lacked any electric light, leaving the whole area rather dark.
